Comment Policy

Welcome to my blog. Thank you for visiting, and I hope you’ll keep coming back! I appreciate and value your comments on my blog, be they supportive or dissenting. However, please note there are some ground rules for posting comments. My intention is to help nurture a positive space for people to interact on my blog.

I pre-moderate all comments (I.e., I read them before they are approved for posting). I am busy finishing my PhD, and frequently need to go offline to concentrate on that. While I try to read and approve your comments promptly, it may take up to 48 hours before your comment is posted.

Ground rules: I will not approve and post comments that are SPAM, abusive, off-topic, contain ad-hominem (personal) attacks, use excessively foul language, contain someone’s personal contact information without their permission (like an email address), or promote hatred of any kind.

All comments are filtered through the SPAM filtering program Akismet. Akismet is not perfect, and so there is the risk your comment might get thrown into the SPAM folder. If your comment does not violate the above ground rules, and has still not appeared after 48 hours, please contact me at julie.d.m.comber[@]gmail.com and I’ll do my best to sort it out! Please be patient. If you repost a duplicate comment before I have a chance to post your original comment, I will only post the original.

Thanks! Comment away!

Keep Shining,
Julie.
